No point to this story about a fly.

I used a peanut shell to pick it up and throw it into the bin.
Four hours later, my brother complains that the fly is still buzzing amongst the trash from lunch. This was after he sprayed it with more insecticide.

music: Michael McDonald - What A Fool Believes
In the midst of our conversation about how a lot of people wouldn`t survive a horror movie (due to aforementioned individuals' focus issues), he replied, "Wahahaha," to a stealthy invader joke I made.
I glanced across my shoulder into the next room to smile at him only to see him sitting there, stone-faced; passively facing his screen. How could you type "haha" or "hurhur" or "tee hee" and not be laughing, sniggering or at the very least smiling?!
I feel so cheated.

No, I don`t recognise these men. All you Asians look the same to me.

found news photo gold

Photo credited to the AP
It was attached to (or perhaps hilariously embellished) an article about the Taliban officially being better financed than al-Qaida. True story.
Is that not the chummiest photo of terrorists ever? It`s got that whole stereotypical Middle Eastern dude thing happening with the beards and turban and the dudes are standing with their arms around one another`s shoulders the way one would expect heterosexual man-friends to do in a commemorative event type photograph.
They even have matching none-too-happy looks on their faces like bitchy frienemies which totally support the Taliban being richer than al-Qaida headline!

Christopher Cross: Awesome
Sep. 29th, 2009 | 04:43 am
mood:
adoring
Firstly, Christopher Cross is still popular and he`s still touring.
Secondly, how could you say that?! He was kinda cute when he was young! He kind of looked like Chris O`Donnell! Sure, that isn`t the kind of look I tend to favour but doesn`t the general population think that Chris O`Donnell is cute? I mean, they must! They`ve just made another horrible CSI series (LA) with him in it. I never watch any other CSI except Las Vegas! And! I stopped watching when Grissom left!
Personally, I like to imagine everyone stopped watching when Grissom left. Anyway, that`s not completely true. I sometimes watch to show the absent Grissom that I approve of his choice of replacement. Laurence Fishburne is cool. He was freaking badass in Precinct 13. All of you should go out and rent the hell out of that movie now if you haven`t yet seen it.
Wait, wait. Backtrack.
What I wanted to say is that Christopher Cross' voice and his music are beautiful. Now I shall listen to Sailing at four something in the morning and feel loved and completely uplifted. If I ever see Mr Cross, I will hug him and tell him he is adorable and most certainly does not have a face for radio.
Edited to add:
My mistake. I was watching ET and found out Chris O`Donnell is in an NCIS spin-off. I have no accompanying rant for that. Thanks for taking the hot air out of my billowing sails, Misunderstanding.
But everything I said about Christopher Cross still stands.

Wariess, Amazon

I really, really liked the Amazon because she was the only female character with broad shoulders and huge thighs (built realistically - like me). I was going for brute force but because Joe was already our strength character and tank, I only learnt enough close combat to run freely in the plains bashing zombies and other undead with Wirt`s leg as a joke.
I googled stuff and some hilarious forum people were saying that instead of Amazons, they`ll have a gender neutral Ranger class because "you can`t have a manazon."

Keagan. ADORABLE.
He lives with his family; Joe`s best friend, Kenny, and Kenny`s younger sister, Karen. They`re both very energetic, warm and extremely lively people. Being with them was like a party every day. Keagan was also very enthusiastic and loveable. Jumpy and licky. I think he liked me as much as I liked him.
Good times. Hyper trio!

王淑慧

so pleased
The issue came up when she did a hilarious random Facebook quiz and was disappointingly christened "Sakura." I offered to read the kanji in her name so we could come up with something more accurate and appropriate.
Kanji is unfortunately not my strong point so I couldn`t come up with too many Japanese variations of her name. Still!
We eventually agreed upon the very olden day and prestigious sounding,
Ou Yoshi e
Henceforth, Sharrie will be known as O-chan or Yoshie whenever we are in Japan or in the company of my Japanese relatives. I will call her Occhi when no one else is present. *Squish*
Not that anything will change. My grandfather, who has met her several times and seems very fond of her, will definitely still call her "Ou san" as he`s very proper about manners and honourifics.
